Clint Frazier named Carolina League Player of the Month for July

Cleveland Indians outfield prospect Clint Frazier was named the Carolina League Player of the Month for July. Frazier was the Indians first round pick in the 2013 MLB Draft. 

Frazier led the Carolina League in hitting with a .363 average, and hits, with 37, in July. Frazier was also second in the league with a .559 SLG and 1.000 OPS, third in runs scored and extra-base hits with 21 and 12, and fifth in RBI with 17.

With the Indians Advance A affiliate this season, Frazier is hitting .286 with a .381 OBP and .465 SLG. Frazier has 117 hits in 409 at-bats, with 30 doubles, two triples, 13 home runs and 60 RBI.

Frazier is the No. 2 prospect in the Indians system per MLB Pipeline. Frazier also ranks as the No. 41 overall prospect in the MLB.
