Mired in a painful May swoon with only one hit in his last 29 at-bats, St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams took out some frustration on his bat Thursday after striking out against Indians pitcher Trevor Bauer.
Actually, Adams took out a lot of frustration. He smashed the lumber against the ground and split it in half, needing only his right arm to do so. The power smash won't get him onto first base, but that is pretty darn impressive.
