The Brewers parted ways with infielder Luis Sardinas on Friday, dealing the 22-year-old to the Seattle Mariners in exchange for Venezuela-born outfielder Ramon Flores.

Flores made his MLB debut last season with the New York Yankees, before being traded to Seattle in late July.

The 23-year-old spent the season with Triple-A Tacoma, batting .423 with two home runs and seven RBI in just 14 games.

Sardines was largely ineffective during limited stints with the Brewers, finishing with a .196 batting average and just four RBI.
