Alex Rodriguez issues two denials; blasts Bud Selig

Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez had an eventful Wednesday.

First, he stormed out of his legal hearing when he learned that Major League Baseball Commissioner Bud Selig wasn't going to be present.

Then he headed directly to the WFAN radio studio in New York to go on the air with host Mike Francesa (listen to the interview here). Rodriguez used the show to issue a denial about using PEDs. He also claimed that Bud Selig is out to get him.

"He's trying to destroy me. To put me on his big mantle on the way out, that's a hell of a trophy," Rodriguez said.

The Yankees third baseman also accused the commisoner of hating New York.

"I know you don't like New York, but you gotta come face me," Rodriguez demanded.

Most importantly, for Buzzer purposes, A-Rod offered this quote when Francesa asked him about putting his phone number on a baseball and tossing it to two attractive females during a playoff game in 2012.
