Senators agree to 3-year extension with goalie Craig Anderson

The Ottawa Senators have agreed to a three-year, $12.6 million contract extension with goalie Craig Anderson. 

Anderson now is under contract through the 2017-18 season. 

The 33-year-old Anderson was 25-16-8 in 53 games this past season, his fourth with the team. He had a 3.00 goals against average and a .911 save percentage.

In his 12-year career, he is 168-135-40 with a 2.75 GAA and a .915 save percentage. He began his career with the Chicago Blackhawks and also has played for the Florida Panthers and Colorado Avalanche.
