Tom Brady was questionable with an illness heading into Sunday’s game against the Tennessee Titans, but he doesn’t want anyone worrying about him.

The New England Patriots quarterback made his weekly appearance on WEEI’s “Dennis & Callahan” on Monday, and he said his illness is nothingcompared to the other problems the injury-ravaged Patriots are dealing with.

“I know a lot of guys are battling through different injuries and so forth,” Brady said. “What I was dealing with was very minor compared to what they’re dealing with. It’s just kind of part of football season.

“I said after the game, when you play a football season, six or seven months, you’re dealing with a lot of life stuff, too. You’ve just got to be mentally tough and put aside whatever you can and just kind of move forward and try to play as best as you can.”

Brady was A-OK in the Patriots’ 33-16 win over the Titans, throwing for 267 yards and two touchdowns on 23-of-35 passing. And he believes that overall, he’s been pretty lucky this season having the support to get through that life stuff.

“I’ve been very blessed in my life to be surrounded by people that love and support me,” Brady said. “I think my parents and my sisters, who have been such a big impact in my life, and now my own family, my wife and my kids, who just provide me with so much support. My friends and my teammates. I’m very blessed in my life.

“I don’t have many complaints. Honestly, I don’t wake up many mornings and, ‘Woe is me.’ I look around and just try to have empathy for people that are in other obviously challenging situations. Everyone goes through difficult times in their life. I think you just have to have compassion and empathy for people and the challenging things they go through.”
