Thomas Davis: 'I don't think there's much that Mike Tolbert can't do'

For the Carolina Panthers, running back Mike Tolbert has been a man with the ability to do a little bit of everything for their offense. While he's primarily played fullback and running back, he can also play tight end or even split out wide and catch some passes, according to David Newton of ESPN.

One player specifically who raved about Tolbert and his ability to go out and catch passes was linebacker Thomas Davis.

"You wouldn’t think he would actually be out in routes, catching passes," Carolina Panthers linebacker Thomas Davis told ESPN as he described what opponents must think of Mike Tolbert.

"He’s a guy that really makes it hard to predict our offense, because we line him up [in so many places] and [do] so many things with him," Davis said.

Then came an interesting stat that was actually very telling from Davis. He stated that you can "look at the games we played last year without him, versus the games we played with him, that speaks for itself."

When evaluating that, Newton explains that the Panthers were 6-2 with Tolbert, while going 1-6-1 without him.

Davis didn't stop there when talking about Tolbert either, stating that the offensive playmaker is basically good at everything, even dancing.

"He’s a guy that actually has moves," Davis said. "He’s probably the best dancer on this team. I don’t think there’s much that Mike Tolbert can’t do."

Here's to hoping Tolbert can come in and make an impact once again for the Panthers, because him being on the field seems to make the jobs of everyone else just a bit easier.
