Oakland Raiders linebacker Sio Moore was taken off the field on a stretcher with a neck injury after getting hurt in the second quarter of a preseason game Friday against the Green Bay Packers.

Moore moved his legs back and forth while face down on the field after pursuing running back DuJuan Harris. It appeared Moore may have been hit in the head.

Trainers placed Moore on a board and moved him to the stretcher, where he was immobilized. He gave a thumbs-up as he was taken off the field to a standing ovation before being transported to a hospital.

The second-year player had 4 1/2 sacks last season in 15 games, including 14 starts.

For the Packers, defensive lineman B.J. Raji left after the first quarter with an arm injury. He remained on the sideline in the first half with a black sleeve on his right arm.

The Raiders also lost two other starters to head injuries after middle linebacker Nick Roach and cornerback Tarell Brown left in the first half.
