It’s the Week 5 NFL power rankings, and they are certainly not what we expected to see.

Cleveland Browns

0-4

The Browns are the only winless team in the NFL, and it might stay like that for a bit.31

San Francisco 49ers

1-3

Last week: L, 24-17, vs. DALLast rank: 31st

San Francisco is starting Blaine Gabbert at quarterback. Read that sentence again.30

Tennessee Titans

1-3

Last week: L, 27-20, at HOULast rank: 29th

If Marcus Mariota doesn’t start playing better, Tennessee will be lucky to win three games.29

Miami Dolphins

1-3

Last week: L, 22-7, at CINLast rank: 28th

At this juncture, the time has come to move on from Ryan Tannehill28

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Last week: L, 27-7, vs. DENLast rank: 25th

Jameis Winston needs to stop throwing interceptions. This team’s defense can’t handle that pressure.27

Detroit Lions

The Lions are still the Lions. Move along.26

Chicago Bears

If John Fox doesn’t continue to start Brian Hoyer, he should be fired on the spot.25

The Chargers could easily be 4-0, but instead are 1-3 and Mike McCoy is feeling the heat.24

New Orleans Saints

Could the comeback in San Diego get the ball rolling? Nope, but it was still fun.23

Carolina Panthers

Carolina has real issues. Cam Newton is playing bad football and those corners are downright embarrassing.16

The Cardinals are all messed up offensively, something of a shock with all that talent.15

Buffalo Bills

The offense is still lacking, but two impressive wins deserve this bump.14

Washington isn’t winning pretty, but it’s winning. That deserves a small move.13

Cincinnati Bengals

Cincinnati looks like it is starting to come around. We’ll know more this weekend against Dallas.12

Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City is better than it looked on Sunday, but the offense is a total disaster.11

Houston Texans

Houston is going to win the AFC South, but this team isn’t a true contender.10

Oakland Raiders

The Raiders have won three road games, with two coming by a point. How good are they? Jury is still out.9

Atlanta Falcons

Atlanta has an incredible offense. If the defense becomes average, look out.8

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have a terrifying offense with Ezekiel Elliott … and Dak Prescott? Yup.7

Seattle Seahawks

Seattle is completely back on track after taking care of business against the Jets.6

Philadelphia Eagles

Philadelphia might be the best story in the NFL to this point.5

Green Bay Packers

Green Bay is going to be a terror for anybody going forward with that offense beginning to roll.4

New England Patriots

The Patriots get Tom Brady back and are playing the Browns. Unfair.3

Pittsburgh Steelers

Last week: W, 43-14, vs. KCLast rank: 6th

Pittsburgh got right in a hammering of the Chiefs. This team has a very high ceiling.2

Minnesota Vikings

4-0

Last week: W, 24-10, vs. NYGLast rank: 3rd

Minnesota might be the best team in football, without Teddy Bridgewater and Adrian Peterson. Wait, what?1

Denver Broncos

4-0

Last week: W, 27-7, at TBLast rank: 2nd

The defense is something else. If the offense can just not lose the game, it’s all but over.
