Johnny Manziel sells out autograph signing back in Aggieland

Johnny Manziel's autograph is still in high demand back in his college town.

Tickets for Manziel's first public signing event since being drafted by the Cleveland Browns quickly sold out at Aggieland Outfitters in College Station, Texas, according to the Bryan Eagle. The signing's first 250 tickets, priced at $125 to $155, sold out in one day last week, and another 100-ticket allotment sold out quickly on Monday.

"We knew there would be a lot of excited Aggies and their response has been pretty overwhelming," store spokesman Dallas Shipp told The Eagle. "It's not every day you get to meet a Heisman Trophy winner and someone who in his case has transformed into not just a sports celebrity, but an international celebrity."

Manziel was investigated by the NCAA while at Texas A&M in 2013 over whether he profited from autograph signings for a private dealer. Now that he can capitalize financially on his signature, it's just too bad he retired the "money" sign
