Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant may not have the long-term contract he desires just yet, but he certainly has the respect of his peers. As the NFL continued its coutndown of the Top 100 players of 2015, Bryant finally heard his name called at No. 15 overall on Wednesday night.

In his first season under first year offensive coordinator Scott Linehan, Bryant had arguably the best numbers of his career. Bryant racked up 1,320 yards and a league-leading 16 touchdowns on 88 receptions.

Bryant is not the fastest straight-line runner in the NFL, but he has the unique ability to breakaway from defenders after the catch.

"And he gets it, that's when he really turns into a beast," said Cowboys wide receiver Reggie Dunn, on the NFL Network's countdown program. "He's Marshawn Lynch at the receiver position when he gets the ball in his hands."

Even Bryant's opponents had glowing things to say about the now veteran wide receiver.

"Very rare do wideouts look for contact," said Rams linebacker James Laurinaitis, on the NFL Network's countdown program. "I feel like he's one of those guys that embraces it. He can catch a now pass or a bubble screen and he can look for contact, and ways to take it to the house. I think he truly believes every time he touches it, he can score."

Reports claim that Bryant and the Cowboys are on the verge of completing a long-term contract that will keep him in Dallas for years to come.
