Utah's Trey Lyles to replace Nikola Mirotic in Rising Stars Challenge
Jazz forward Trey Lyles has impressed enough during his rookie season to earn a spot in the All-Star Weekend Rising Stars Challenge.

Utah's Lyles replaces Chicago's Nikola Mirotic, currently hospitalized after undergoing his second surgery. Lyles averages 18.1 minutes per game, averaging 4.7 points with 4.0 rebounds per game for the Jazz. According to NBA.com, Lyles averaged 13.3 points and 5.2 rebounds from January 13 until January 22.
The Canadian-born Lyles will join nine other international players in Toronto to play against Team USA's Rising Stars. Jazz teammates Raul Neto and Rodney Hood were also previously announced to play in the exhibition.

When asked about his upcoming trip, Lyles joked rapper Drake can "hit his hotline bling" while he's in Toronto, via Salt Lake Tribune.
