Tyler Hansbrough shines as Charlotte takes down Miami

The Charlotte Hornets defeated the Miami Heat 90-77 on Sunday night. Competing without Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (out with a separated shoulder), Nicolas Batum, Spencer Hawes and Al Jefferson, a door was opened for Charlotte's backups and role players to shine, and shine some of them did.
Brian Roberts dropped 21 points on just 11 shots, while Frank Kaminsky scored nine points and grabbed 11 rebounds. But Tyler Hansbrough, a forward who may never crack the Hornets' regular-season rotation, gave a monstrous performance in 31 minutes off the bench.
Here's SB Nation's At the Hive with a recap:
Hansbrough is on a one-year contract for the league minimum. He sits behind four or five forwards on the depth chart and, thanks to a limited offensive skill-set, won't ever likely play.
But for at least one night, the 29-year-old was able to impact a game and help Charlotte win.
Roberts had a game-high 21 points while summer signee Tyler Hansbrough pulled down a game-high 17 rebounds...Hansbrough revealed his trash man mentality in his first appearance of the preseason, grabbing three offensive rebounds in the first eight minutes.
