The Spurs and Heat have a date set for the preseason
The wounds from the 2015 playoffs aren't yet healed, but the San Antonio Spurs must move on. And it looks like the next time they take the court as a team may be against the Miami Heat.
Here's the Sun-Sentinel's Ira Winderman with more information on the preseason matchup:
"The Heat previously were announced as the home team for an Oct. 7 exhibition against the Orlando Magic in Louisville. Tickets for that game also go on sale Friday. The Heat also are expected to play exhibitions in Atlanta and San Antonio, in what will eventually be an eight-game preseason schedule, the NBA maximum."
It's the preseason, so nobody's all that excited, but what will be interesting is how each of these teams look. Dwyane Wade may be on a different team. Tim Duncan may be retired. Danny Green may be on the Heat. Anything and everything is possible as we approach free agency.
