Sacramento Kings Get Steamrolled By The Milwaukee Bucks

Published Jun. 30, 2017 6:28 p.m. ET

Remember how I was praising this season’s Sacramento Kings because of their consistent level of competitiveness? Well, that was nonexistent tonight as the purple and white were steamrolled by the Milwaukee Bucks by a score of 117-91.

Notable performances from the Kings’ roster tonight were DeMarcus Cousins with 15 points, Skal Labissiere (who made his NBA debut) with 8 points, and Garrett Temple who scored 19 points.

The Kings entered tonight’s game without Rudy Gay, and as a result, the Kings struggled to score points tonight. Sacramento only finished with 91 points while shooting 39.3% from the court and 35.7% from the perimeter.

The defense for Sacramento was no bright spot either as they let the Bucks shoot 50% from the court and 42.4% from the perimeter.

Overall, the Kings found little momentum tonight as they let the Bucks put the hammer on them. Hopefully, the Kings can redeem themselves tomorrow as face off against the Toronto Raptors in the Air Canada Centre.
