Russell Westbrook had a NSFW response to Reggie Jackson's in-game celebration

With Kevin Durant and Serge Ibaka sitting out to rest, the Oklahoma City Thunder fell to the Detroit Pistons, 88-82, on Tuesday.

Toward the end of the game, Reggie Jackson, who played for the Thunder for the first 3 1/2 seasons of his career, decided to celebrate by waving his hands in the air and pumping up the Pistons' crowd:

The Thunder felt the celebration was excessive and took offense to it.

Thunder enforcer Steven Adams confronted Jackson, and the two had a heated exchange:

In the post-game scrum, Russell Westbrook -- who has taken issue with Jackson before -- was asked about Jackson's gesture, and responded with a NSFW comment:

Both Westbrook and Adams seemed to suggest there could be revenge against Jackson down the line, though they didn't outright threaten him. They weren't the only members of the Thunder who noticed, though. Even coach Billy Donovan was surprised that Jackson celebrated as if the Pistons had won a playoff game:

Jackson and the Thunder seemed to part ways on bad terms, and the way their matchups have unfolded since then have only further confirmed that.

In Jackson's defense, the 40-35 Pistons are fighting for their playoff lives, and every win takes them a step closer to securing a playoff spot. He's excited. Add in the fact that he beat his old team and, well, it's understandable.

At the same time, Jackson probably added a little something-something because it was the Thunder, and he wanted to gloat in victory. Either way, expect this beef to continue into next season and beyond:
