Report: Mavs get Zaza Pachulia back as they end tough month

Dallas Mavericks center Zaza Pachulia will return to the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Brooklyn Nets.

Dallas is looking to break a two-game skid after going 1-2 on a road trip without Pachulia, who is averaging a double-double with 10.4 points and 10.7 rebounds a game.

During Pachulia's absence, which came against Houston, the Lakers and Golden State, Dallas' defense fell apart with an efficiency rating of 117.4. The Mavs are playing their 17th of 18 games in January. They are 7-9 during that stretch.
