Nikola Vucevic, Evan Fournier, Rudy Gobert have odd 'fight' on Twitter
Late on Tuesday evening, Utah's Rudy Gobert posted what an analytical basketball tweet. But when Orlando's Nik Vucevic and Evan Fournier got involved, did it turn into apparent beef with Miami's Hassan Whiteside?
You can have good stats but hurt your team... numbers do lie sometimes. #onlypeoplethatknowthegameunderstandthat
— Rudy Gobert (@rudygobert27) January 20, 2016
It's hard to say. Gobert's original tweet read that it's possible to have "good stats but hurt your team" because "numbers do lie sometimes" -- which seemed innocent enough. But Vucevic wasn't having any of it; he said Gobert should tell people who he was talking about "like a real man" would.
@rudygobert27 I think you should tell us who you're talking about like a real man would

Gobert, who didn't seem to take Vucevic's request too seriously, responded about fifteen minutes later with a joke about Vucevic's teammate Evan Fournier's hairdo.
@NikolaVucevic Your teammate i think he had that ugly ponytail

While playing international basketball for France, Gobert and Fournier became friends.
@rudygobert27 @NikolaVucevic Blancoté ?? lool
— Evan Fournier (@EvanFourmizz) January 20, 2016
Fournier, who has roasted Gobert on Twitter as recently as earlier this season, wasn't offended by Gobert's jab. Instead, he asked Gobert if he was discussing "Blancoté" -- which could be a French translation of Miami's Hassan Whiteside.

As @dru_star notes, "Blanc" translates to "White" and "coté" means "side" in French. Whiteside had 23 points (8-of-9) with 18 rebounds during Miami's 91-79 loss to Milwaukee on Tuesday.
Good morning everyone...hope you guys enjoyed the beef like we did :) #itwasajoke @rudygobert27 @EvanFourmizz pic.twitter.com/CSycPLuiFH

Vucevic later shared a photo explaining that the whole "beef" was a joke.
