Melo's failed dunk is even better with these classic dunk calls

Things did not go well for Carmelo Anthony and the New York Knicks on Tuesday night.

It would have been one thing if Melo had just been involved in a bit of a yelling match with a vocal courtside fan as the Knicks were trounced by the Portland Trail Blazers at home. The Knicks All-Star told the New York "supporter" that if they wanted for a refund, owner James Dolan was the person to talk to, not Anthony -- a comment for which 'Melo later apologized.

But Anthony topped himself with an attempt at a post-whistle dunk that went absolutely miserably:

It was entertaining enough that even 'Melo had to laugh at the miss. Yet when you add some of basketball's most iconic announcers' calls to the mix, the missed dunk becomes art:

"Send it in, Jerome!" and "No regard for human life!" are our favorites, of course. But you can't really go wrong with any of these.
