Maybe Okafor is excited to be on the Sixers after all? (VIDEO)
At his introductory press conference with the Philadelphia 76ers, Jahlil Okafor was caught on tape throwing a Sixers jersey to the ground, disregarding it like a dirty rag.
The video is hilarious, but probably taken out of context.
The perception of Philadelphia as a franchise that has no interest in winning games may limit its appeal to NBA players (particularly when Okafor could've been drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers), but a second video later surfaced that shows the Duke product calmly handing his jersey to a 76ers PR guy.
So, which one is a better reflection of Okafor's feelings toward his new employer? Um, probably neither. As with most things that go viral online, this is much ado about nothing.
