Kobe: Breakfast summit with Rondo was 'basketball geek' conversation

The Internet was abuzz on Thursday when a photo surfaced online of Kobe Bryant and Rajon Rondo enjoying breakfast together in Boston, fueling rumors of a possible courtship of the Celtics guard to Los Angeles.

"Like a mutual intervention?" Bryant said with a smile.

Meanwhile, Rondo reportedly had his own take.

Bryant also is a big Rondo fan, saying the guard is "extremely intelligent" who makes the most of his skills despite being 6 feet 1.
