Khris Middleton says Andre Drummond 'doesn't like contact'

Published Nov. 25, 2015 4:43 p.m. ET

Milwaukee Bucks forward Khris Middleton might have some bad blood with the Detroit Pistons.

Middleton was drafted in the same year as Pistons center Andre Drummond, but was traded after just one season to the Milwaukee Bucks as part of the Brandon Knight-Brandon Jennings swap.

Although Middleton and Drummond were bonded as rookies on the same team, apparently that doesn't mean much anymore. After Middleton helped the Bucks defeat the Pistons 109-88, he had some interesting comments about Drummond.

Here's what Middleton told the Associated Press, via ProBasketballTalk:

“We just tried to be physical,” Middleton said of the Bucks’ plan for Drummond. “We know he doesn’t like contact. Once he misses a couple, he is going to get down on himself and start forcing tough shots. Greg did a great job of just making him shot tough shots and not letting him get to his right hand.”
