How can Kevin Martin help the Timberwolves next season?

Kevin Martin only played in 39 games last season, the lowest of his career. The Minnesota Timberwolves shooting guard's year was plagued by injuries, but when he was on the court he looked pretty good.
Here's Timberwolves.com's Kyle Ratke with a look back at Martin's season, and what it may mean for the future:
"While Andrew Wiggins will eventually get to the point where he can take over offensively, Martin is really the only Wolves player who has that ability. When Martin was on the floor with Wiggins, Ricky Rubio, Thad Young and Nikola Pekovic last season, the Wolves were a +31 overall. That’s a small sample size, obviously, but it’s telling what the Wolves are capable of when they are healthy."
Aside from a pitstop in Oklahoma City in 2013, Martin has never played for a good team in his NBA career. For Minnesota's sake, hopefully that trend changes next season, when the a healthy Timberwolves team gets back on track and fights for a playoff spot.
