Gregg Popovich had a good laugh watching the Spurs trip over themselves

The San Antonio Spurs are a ruthlessly effiecient doomsday machine. A literal dreadnought. Less a basketball team than an inescapable fact of life. So while every other team has, at some point, Shaqted A Fool, you'd think that surely the no-nonsense Spurs are exempt.

Nah though.

A possession early in the third quarter of Thursday night's game against the New Orleans Pelicans started just like any other, and ended with an unforced turnover and Tony Parker, Tim Duncan, and Kawhi Leonard all sprawled out on the floor.

It was so ridiculous that Gregg Popovich couldn't help but laugh.

The Spurs came to themselves midway through the fourth quarter and pulled away with a 20-5 run to close things out, winning 94-86.

Inescapable fact of life.
