Clippers' Jamal Crawford drains half-court shot to beat the buzzer
Los Angeles Clippers guard Jamal Crawford is struggling with one of the worst shooting slumps of his career. His 38.5 field-goal percentage would be the third-lowest of his 16-year career, and his 29.3 percent shooting from deep would be his lowest ever.
But Crawford can still make difficult shots -- his career-defining speciality -- like he did on Tuesday night against the Denver Nuggets.
Following a Danilo Gallinari 3-point miss with five seconds remaining in the third quarter, Crawford collected the ball around the Clippers' free-throw line and took off down court. Crawford took two dribbles and pulled up from a feet behind the half-court line. As Clippers play-by-play announcer Ralph Lawler so eloquently says, "Bingo!"
