As for Quicken Loans Arena, often called the Q, they will get to show off their new facilities of which they just spent $100+ million on.
The next two All-Star games will be represented by New Orleans (Smoothie King Center) and the LA Lakers (Staples Center). It would have been in Charlotte, but Adam Silver changed the local after various issues with the location.
The news is exciting for Cleveland as it would generate several millions dollars of revenue not only for Quicken Loans but also for the entire city of Cleveland. Also, this might be another dream that LeBron has assuming he agrees to his player option for the 2018-2019 season and then resigns for the 2019-2020 season.
Everyone in Cleveland and all Cavalier fans should be thrilled for this exciting news.
