Celtics' Smart has flop of the century, fools Carmelo into awful shot

Boston Celtics point guard Marcus Smart is already one of the best defenders in the NBA, and he knows how to flop when matched up against players who are much bigger and stronger than he is.
During Tuesday night's win against the New York Knicks, Smart flopped so hard on a post up by Carmelo Anthony that Carmelo's shot flew off the side of the backboard. It was seriously impressive:
Even though he didn't get a whistle for his trouble, Smart's emphatic flop threw the eight-time All-Star into a state of total confusion.
Anthony's shot wasn't even close to going in, so, in a way, Boston's second-year point guard made a tremendous defensive play even though he failed to accomplish his primary objective.

The 21-year-old doesn't need to flop. He's already a perennial candidate to make the NBA's All-Defensive team.
Just know he'll do whatever it takes to get a stop. No matter what.
