Cavs reportedly planning to rest LeBron, he won't play all 82 games

When LeBron James said he planned on playing all 82 of his team's regular season games this year, it raised more than a few eyebrows.

Forgetting the fact that James has never done so to this point of his career which is now in its 13th season, the back issues he's dealt with and the importance of being at full strength for a lengthy run through the playoffs made such a declaration seem a bit silly.

As it turns out, the team is reportedly already looking at the schedule to see when sitting him down to rest might make the most sense.

The Cavs remain diligent in their monitoring and concern over James' health, to the point of plotting areas on the schedule where they could rest him, a team source told Cleveland.com.

There are no set-in-stone plans to sit James yet, but the reality is that he will not reach the goal he laid out last week of playing in all 82 regular-season games.
