A Cleveland Cavaliers fan who made news a few weeks back after he got a “2015 NBA Champs” tattoo insists he has no regrets over the inked prediction gone wrong, adding he has no plans to alter or change it.

Lonynell Coleman, the fan in question who believed his beloved Cavaliers would be hoisting the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy upon the conclusion of the NBA Finals, took to Twitter to proclaim to any naysayers, cynics or critics that he holds the team in high regard despite the fact they were overwhelmed by a superior — and healthier — Golden State Warriors squad.

"I'm not changing nothing on this tattoo," Coleman tweeted. "This year was a great one and this is always gonna be a memory."

Coleman obviously is taking it all in stride, even if ESPN’s “First Take” program took a potshot at him on Instagram.

“Good try, good effort,” the post that features a photo of Coleman's tattoo reads in part.

Obviously, to get a tattoo that boasts one’s favorite team is poised for championship glory is rife with risk. As noted previously, it is hopeful that this guy and this guy and this guy and this guy and this guy had some kind of contingency plan in place, as their respective tattooed predictions didn’t pan out for them, either. At least Coleman had the class to stand by his tattoo, despite its inaccuracy.

After all, rarely does it happen that folks who get title tattoos make out like this Seahawks fanThis Washington Nationals fan, however, still has hope. Coleman, sadly, does not.

At least this Cubs fan had the good sense to leave his predictive championship tattoo some wiggle room. That always helps.
