Beno Udrih: New York Knicks won't land Marc Gasol

Grizzlies backup point guard Beno Udrih used to play for the New York Knicks. He knows all about the off-court drama, the media feeding frenzy that accompanies playing in Madison Square Garden. It's a fish bowl of surreal expectations.

Still, the Knicks have cap space, and are rumored to be after Udrih's current teammate, All-Star center Marc Gasol. But Memphis' guard says there's no chance that's happening.

Gasol is widely expected to re-sign for a maximum contract with the Grizzlies, so this news isn't exactly breaking. But it further solidifies the fact that Phil Jackson should definitely move on if he hasn't already.
