Aaron Gordon casually dunks from near the free throw line vs. the Warriors

Aaron Gordon seems to still be upset about his Slam Dunk contest loss to Zach Lavine.

A couple days after dunking so hard that he tore open his shoe, Gordon casually took off from just inside the free throw line and jammed home an impressive dunk against the Golden State Warriors:

When Gordon takes off now, defenders clear out of his path. Even Draymond Green, who plays as hard as anyone in the NBA, knew better than to try to get in Gordon's way.

The Gordon-Blake Griffin comparisons haven't necessarily panned out in terms of on-court production, but it's starting to feel like Gordon is approaching a young Griffin's ability to captivate an audience with his aerial assaults.

If he could dunk from near the free throw line that effortlessly, one has to wonder why he didn't try to get more creative with his final dunk in the Dunk Contest and best LaVine from the free throw line (LaVine had three free throw line-related dunks).

Assuming there's a LaVine-Gordon rematch next season, we can only imagine what tricks Gordon still has up his sleeve.
