NASCAR RACE HUB Hits the Air Monday Amidst Speculated Chase Shakeup & New Driver/Team Combinations
If the NASCAR on FOX Sports 1 programming schedule next week is any indication, the short NASCAR off-season officially is over.
Just two weeks removed from live Daytona Preseason Thunder testing coverage, FOX Sports 1 premieres a new season of NASCAR RACE HUB, the network's daily NASCAR news and information program, on Monday, Jan. 27 (4-5 p.m. ET), kicking off a week in which the NASCAR community evaluates the freshly unveiled qualifying formats, while anxiously awaiting speculated changes to the annual championship playoff run -- the Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup. The network also offers live, exclusive television coverage of the NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 29 (7-9 p.m. ET).
Steve Byrnes (@SteveByrnes12) returns from a late-2013 medical leave of absence to co-host the one-hour program alongside Danielle Trotta (@DanielleTrotta), while Adam Alexander (@adam1alexander) continues to serve as a rotating co-host. The group has plenty to discuss as the NASCAR Sprint Media Tour Hosted by Charlotte Motor Speedway runs Monday, Jan. 27 through Thursday, Jan. 30, the scheduled date of NASCAR Chairman Brian France's presentation.
NASCAR RACE HUB presents comprehensive coverage from each NASCAR team's stop along the Media Tour, with reporters on-site interviewing drivers and team officials. Among scheduled teams are Chip Ganassi Racing, Hendrick Motorsports, Joe Gibbs Racing, Michael Waltrip Racing, Richard Childress Racing, Roush Fenway Racing, Richard Petty Motorsports and Stewart-Haas Racing. All eyes are on several new driver/team combinations in effect for 2014, highlighted by the new Stewart-Haas Racing powerhouse lineup of Tony Stewart, Kurt Busch, Kevin Harvick and Danica Patrick. Additionally, the No. 3 Chevrolet, made famous by Dale Earnhardt, returns to NASCAR Sprint Cup Series competition, driven by Austin Dillon.
On Wednesday, NASCAR on FOX's Mike Joy (@mikejoy500) and Krista Voda (@kristavoda) return to co-host the NASCAR Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony live on FOX Sports 1 from the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, N.C., reprising roles they have held since the inaugural class of 2010 was enshrined. Maurice Petty, Fireball Roberts, Jack Ingram, Tim Flock and Dale Jarrett will be inducted by Hall of Famers Richard Petty, Waddell Wilson, Harry Gant, Humpy Wheeler and Blake Shelton, respectively. Also participating in the evening's festivities are Aric Almirola, Jeff Gordon, Kevin Harvick, Jimmie Johnson and Tony Stewart.

In addition to daily, new episodes of NASCAR RACE HUB, NASCAR on FOX Sports 1 opens comprehensive Daytona Speedweeks coverage on Thursday, Feb. 13 (4 p.m. ET) with a special two-hour edition of NASCAR RACE HUB from NASCAR Media Day that leads into two weeks of live Speedweeks programming on the FOX Sports family of networks.
