Kenseth family grows with baby girl

Matt Kenseth and his wife, Katie, welcomed their second daughter early Tuesday morning.

Grace Katherine Kenseth was born Feb. 22 at 3:49 a.m. ET, weighing in at 7 pounds and 8 ounces. Both mother and daughter are doing well as the family welcomes Grace into the family to join their daughter Kaylin and son Ross, according to a team release.

Kenseth, driver of the No. 17 Roush Fenway Racing Ford, will be able to spend a few days with his baby girl before traveling to this weekend’s Subway Fresh Fit 500 at Phoenix International Raceway.

Kenseth has earned top-10 finishes in his last two races at the track and is looking to rebound from a 34th-place finish at Daytona last weekend, which resulted from getting caught up in a multicar wreck early in the race.
