In 58 editions of the Daytona 500, some of the most memorable finishes in all of motorsports have occurred in the Great American Race.
Whether it was Lee Petty's 1959 win which took until the next Wednesday to confirm he won, or Denny Hamlin beating Martin Truex Jr. by 0.010 seconds, the closest margin in the history of the race with electronic scoring.
