Entry list: 56th annual Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway

There are 48 cars on the preliminary entry list for Sunday's 56th running of the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, the longest race on the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series schedule. 

While he made his return to racing in the Sprint All-Star Race, Joe Gibbs Racing's Kyle Busch will be back behind the wheel of the No. 18 Toyota for his first points event of the 2015 season. 

Defending XFINITY Series champion Chase Elliott returns to Sprint Cup action in the No. 25 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet. Elliott competed in the Sprint Showdown, but was unable to advance into Saturday night's Sprint All-Star Race. 

With 48 cars entered for the 43-car field, five drivers will go home after qualifying (Thursday, May 21 at 7 p.m. on FOX Sports 1).
