Childress restructures team during winless year

Richard Childress Racing announced changes in the structure of its competition department on Wednesday.

The reorganization comes seven months into a winless season for RCR with all four teams falling short of Chase contention. RCR's best effort this season is the No. 33 squad and driver Clint Bowyer who is currently 15th in the point standings, 112 points out of the Chase Zone.
