Brian Scott involved in scary Coca-Cola 600 spin at Charlotte

Brian Scott had a lurid moment on Lap 114 of Sunday's Coca-Cola 600, when he spun his Richard Petty Motorsports Ford at the exit of Turn 2, nearly collecting Kyle Larson with him as they headed toward the backstretch at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

But it could have been a lot worse.

Despite going hard around, Scott managed to somehow keep his car off the wall and avoid contact with his fellow competitors as well. It was a bad moment that turned out to be a lucky break in a sense.

After coming in for four fresh tires, Scott rejoined the race in 36th place, one lap down.
