Grab that old Dale Earnhardt 'Intimidator' black t-shirt, dust it off and be sure to wear it during the Aug. 22 Irwin Tools Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

The speedway announced Monday afternoon it has partnered with Chevrolet in asking that fans wear their favorite black NASCAR shirt to create the "Bristol Blackout Powered by Chevrolet."

The race will showcase Chevrolet's new 2015 Midnight Silverado Special Edition, with the all-black trucks shuttling the drivers around during the pre-race events. The trucks will also be utilized to pull the speedway's fan tram service.

"The Night Race is one of the most impressive spectacles in sporting events, and the sight of the track and crowd decked out in black will make it that much more amazing," said Edward Bailey, Chevrolet's marketing manager.
