Ganassi, Harry Scott team up to field one Xfinity Series entry

Chip Ganassi and Harry Scott Jr. have teamed to field one car in NASCAR's Xfinity Series next season.

The entry will be run by Chip Ganassi Racing and will race under the name HScott Motorsports with Chip Ganassi.

The No. 42 Chevrolet Camaro will be shared by Kyle Larson, the reigning Sprint Cup Series rookie of the year, and Dylan Kwasniewski, who just finished his first season in NASCAR's second-tier series.

Mike Shiplett will crew chief. Shiplett has been a crew chief and a car chief at Richard Petty Motorsports, Turner Scott Motorsports and Gillett Evernham Motorsports.

Ganassi fielded Xfinity cars from 2004 through 2008 and won six races.

Scott was previously a partner in Turner Scott Motorsports.
