Watch: Pete Rose gives A-Rod and Frank Thomas hitting tips off the air

In an unscripted six-minute bit off the air, Pete Rose schooled two fellow Fox Sports analysts and baseball legends—Alex Rodriguez and Frank Thomas—on hitting.
Rose started by giving simple, yet incredibly helpful, tips on busting out of a slump. Rodriguez then began asking a ton of questions, prompting Rose and Thomas to talk about tough pitches and routine.
The Hit King also told a funny story about Gaylord Perry’s spitballs. It’s more than worth the six minutes.

My favorite part was when he said, “your swing was what got you to the big leagues.” What incredible insight from one of the best to ever play.
