Mark Attanasio is headed to Milwaukee

It's hard to imagine a worse start to the season than the one the Brewers are having and now the boss is coming to town.

According to CBS Sports, team owner Mark Attanasio, who lives in Los Angeles, is headed to Milwaukee to meet with the front office.

“While Attanasio's presence could naturally stir burgeoning speculation about long-time Brewers manager Ron Roenicke's job status, [Gereral Manager Doug] Melvin said other issues are foremost in their discussions, at least to this point, and Melvin even suggested an overall change in strategy and focus could be on the table. However, it also isn't difficult to imagine Roenicke becoming an issue if this continues.”

The Brewers were in first place for the bulk of the 2014 season before a tailspin caused them to miss the playoffs.

Now it appears the skid has carried over into the beginning of 2015 and no one – at least for now – appears to have any answers.
