Blue Jays 2B Ryan Goins throws perhaps the worst warm-up pitch ever
Things can get very weird in extra-inning games, especially when they go 19 innings.
The Cleveland Indians eventually prevailed over the Toronto Blue Jays on Friday for their 14th consecutive win, thanks to Carlos Santana's go-ahead home run off utility infielder Darwin Barney.
If only the Blue Jays had left second baseman Ryan Goins on the mound.
Incredibly, Goins pitched out of a bases-loaded, one-out jam in the 18th by getting Indians catcher Chris Gimenez to ground into a double play. But things didn't start so well for Goins, as this warmup pitch proves:

Toronto lost the game Friday and then lost Goins on Saturday. He is headed to the disabled list with forearm tightness.
