Jordan Spieth zings himself, Texas offense in same tweet

Texas’ offense played poorly Saturday night against Notre Dame. The Longhorns struggled to move the ball, and both of the team’s quarterbacks were under heavy duress in a 38-3 loss.

Professional golfer Jordan Spieth, a former Longhorn, has had an awesome 2015, winning the Masters and the U.S. Open and finishing second in the PGA Championship. His play has slipped of late, though. Spieth failed to break 73 in his last four rounds, missing the cut at The Barclays and then the Deutsche Bank Championship this week.

Spieth poked some fun at his beloved Longhorns -- and himself -- in a tweet comparing the team’s offense to his recent play on the links.

Pretty funny. Fortunately for Spieth and Texas, there are sure to be better days ahead for both.
