Impact Spieth was right on the one-over cut line through five holes in the second round. However, aspirations of playing on the weekend were dashed after he went bogey-double bogey on holes six and seven before going six-over on the back nine, when he carded a double bogey on the 14th hole and a disastrous quadruple bogey on the par-5 17th. Spieth ranked outside the top-120 of the field in driving accuracy and SG: Putting, Approach, Off-the-Tee and Tee-to-Green. It's the first time in Spieth's career that he missed the cut at golf's oldest major, and he's finished outside the top-50 in five consecutive tournaments. He won't tee off next week at the 3M Open.
