Top receiver prospect decommits from Texas A&M

Published Dec. 16, 2015 4:42 p.m. ET

When it rains, it pours.

After a report came out stating QB Kyler Murray's potential decision to transfer from the school, Texas A&M also lost the commitment of standout high school prep receiver Quartney Davis.

A Rivals.com 4-star receiver, Davis took to Twitter to discuss the opening up of his recruitment. He initially opted for Texas A&M over a host of schools -- including Arkansas, Cal, LSU, Michigan State, and Oklahoma State.

The instability swirling around the program has to be alarming for those supporters of the Aggies. Not only has signal-caller Kyle Allen transferred (with Murray also potentially leaving), but former longtime offensive line commitment Greg Little announced his intention Wednesday to attend Ole Miss.
