The Aggies could be scrambling to find a quarterback before signing day.

Texas A&M is already down to two quarterbacks after the transfer of sophomore Kyle Allen last week, and now the presumed starter — freshman Kyler Murray — is also reportedly interested in transferring.

Billy Liucci of TexAgs.com has this report Wednesday:

Later on Wednesday, (via TexAgs), Aggies head coach Kevin Sumlin indicated that he expected Murray at practice Thursday:

A former five-star recruit, Murray came to College Station just last season and turned down an opportunity at a professional baseball career to play football for the Aggies.

If Murray leaves, sophomore Jake Hubenak — who started the season at No. 3 on the depth chart — would be the likely starter in the Music City Bowl against Louisville on Dec. 30.
