LSU primed for monster recruiting weekend
LSU head coach Les Miles has already compiled one of the top 2016 recruiting classes in the entire country up to this point. He'll try to add to his current 20-man class this weekend -- as the Tigers are hosting 13 talented high school prospects.
Eight of the 13 expected visitors are already committed to the school. Per The Advocate, the five uncommitted prospects include defensive back Nigel Warrior, defensive back Kristian Fulton, defensive tackle Rashard Lawrence, offensive tackle Willie Allen, and defensive tackle D'Andre Christmas-Giles.
Allen, Lawrence, Christmas-Giles, and Fulton are all in-state prospects. It appears as if LSU is a top choice for all four -- if not in the driver's seat ultimately.
Lawrence and Allen would help to continue LSU's tradition of highly-rated linemen on both sides of the ball. Dually, Fulton is the type of long, athletic corner LSU likes to recruit.
Warrior is a hot commodity with programs from all over the Southeast region. Along with LSU, the talented safety is being pursued by Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia, and Auburn.
