LSU loses WR pledge day before signing day

A day before National Signing Day, 2016 receiver Da'Monte Coxie got cold feet over his commitment to his hometown LSU Tigers.Â

Coxie took to Twitter -- decommitting from Les Miles' program on Tuesday afternoon. The 247Sports 3-star prospect visited UTSA last weekend.
It could ultimately be where Coxie lands, especially considering the fact former LSU assistant coach Frank Wilson is the new head coach in San Antonio.Â
As it currently stands, the Tigers have 22 publicly-known commitments. Although the loss of Coxie takes away a receiver from this class, it's a position LSU is more than accounted for. Dee Anderson and Stephen Sullivan have already enrolled in school, and the Tigers do have a pledge from another receiver in Drake Davis.Â
