Longhorns set to lose transferring lineman Alex Anderson

Published Apr. 26, 2015 11:24 p.m. ET

If there's one area the Texas Longhorns hate to lose depth is on the offensive line. But it appears that will be the case as Alex Anderson is expected to transfer.

Anderson never gained a foothold as a rotation player and that reality this spring could be what triggered his decision to leave Texas.

Anderson would be the third offensive lineman to transfer since last fall, joining Rami Hammad and Curtis Riser.
