FSU Legend Derrick Brooks Calls Out Former NFL Coach For Tweets During Ole Miss Game

Derrick Brooks, a Pro Football Hall of Famer and one of the best to play for FSU, called out former NFL coach Tony Dungy for tweets during Monday’s game.
During the first 29 minutes of Monday’s game between FSU and Ole Miss, there were plenty of people ready to declare the Rebels the winners with a whole half to go. Up 28-6 and looking dominant, who would blame them?
One of those people was legendary NFL head coach and Pro Football Hall of Famer Tony Dungy. The former coach of the Tampa Bay Bucs and Indianapolis Colts had the Rebels in victory lane just one half in:
Well, a funny thing happened on the way to the funeral: FSU decided it wasn’t about to lose and went on a 39-6 run over the final 31 minutes of play to get the 11 point win in the biggest comeback victory in school history.
One of Dungy’s former players on the Bucs, fellow Hall of Famer and former FSU football legend Derrick Brooks, couldn’t resist trolling his former coach for closing the coffin too soon:
@TonyDungy Coach it looked like you wrote us off in first half! Lol, but then..,,

Dungy was good natured and complimented the Seminoles – while firing a shot at Tampa Bay at the same time:
One of the most impressive comebacks I've ever seen. Similar to Colts-Bucs 2003 https://t.co/4KLEipKIzX

(For those that don’t remember, that game was the first one between Dungy and the Bucs after he left following the 2001 season. Indianapolis would win in overtime after a wild comeback).
Needless to say, even legends like Dungy sometimes need to be reminded that football is, has and always will be a four quarter game.
